Walk Like MADD Event in Fort Worth Was A Huge Success

The 2013 Walk like MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Driving) that took place on Saturday at Ridgmar Mall in Fort Worth was a big success, as volunteers and fundraisers were together able to raise more than $25,000 for drunk driving prevention and victims’ services.

Berenson Injury Law, its friends and families again showd their support for MADD. We were one of the sponsors of the walk, put together a team in honor of a client who has suffered critical injuries caused by a drunk driver in June, and donated to other walkers.
We are also helping sponsor the Walk Like MADD in Dallas next spring.

MADD’s goal is to end the senseless collisions caused by drunk drivers and to prevent reckless acts that end up taking the lives of countless victims each year. Just like MADD, truck and auto accident lawyers have the same goal of elimininating this danger from our roads. Law firms across the United States attempt to help the victims and their families and to make sure that those who cause these horrible acts are held fully responsible.

By enlisting legal representation following a car accident involving alcohol, families can press charges on those who should be held responsible. Auto accident lawyers understand that having a loved one involved in a drunk driving accident can be very overwhelming. While focusing on that person’s health is vital, so is enlisting the legal services of a dedicated lawyer to protect their rights.

Legal counsel can make sure that those who drive drunk are being held accountable for the full consequences of their actions. With the help of an attorney, families can also get the compensation they need to cover medical bills and any physical or emotional therapy needed. After a loved one has been hurt in a car accident, don’t delay in hiring a lawyer to receive the support and legal guidance to help in serving justice.
