According to figures just released from the Texas Department of Transportation, there were a whopping 65,000 collisions causing serious injuries and over 232,000 Texans were hurt last year on our Texas roads and highways. Tragically, 3,377 Texans died in these wrecks, including 495 motorcyclists and 485 pedestrians. These collisions cost us $25.7 billion dollars!
32.2 percent of all deaths were caused by a driver drinking or taking drugs.
