Happy Holidays from Berenson Law Firm — And Free Dogs For Presents!

Just in Time For Christmas!

Still racing around trying to find a last minute gift for your spouse or children? Want a unique present whose shine will never wear off? Need a new best friend?

You’re in luck. And so will 10 large dogs who are braving the cold at our North Texas Humane Society.

Berenson Law Firm wants to help our abandoned furry friends find a forever home. So we have donated money to pay for the adoption fees for 10 larger dogs (over 30 pounds) since they are often harder to place.

If you would like to find the perfect pet, go to the main shelter at 1840 East Lancaster Avenue in Fort Worth Friday from noon to 5:00 p.m. Mention us at the front desk.

The dogs available are Cici, Hannah, Bailey, Buddy, Ledi, Sissy, Rosie, Trinity and two others. Their info and photos are online.

The dogs have been checked out and treated by the HSNT veterinarian to make sure that they are healthy. And a lot of veterinarians in the city will not charge you for an office visit if you go there within 10 days. HSNT will provide the list.  You will also receive a free trial 24PetWatch Pet Insurance.

The shelter is closed on Saturday and reopens on Monday from 12:00 – 5:00 p.m.

Humane Society of North Texas Does The Lord’s Work

Not only will you give a dog a new home, you’ll be supporting the wonderful HSNT.  It takes in an incredible 28,000 animals each year in our area. The organization has worked diligently since 1905 to stop animal cruelty, end animal homelessness, and promote the beautiful bonds between people and animals in our area.

HSNT gives every animal, however desperate, a chance. It gives them a safe haven and a new life, regardless of their health, age, behavior, or breed or behavior. And best of all, it is a no kill shelter. Here’s a short video with more info about the valuable services they provide.

I’m a huge animal lover and support many animal rescue and rights groups. My wife and I adopted our sweet cat Lucy from HSNT almost three years ago and have adopted others over the years. And HSNT took in a feral kitten last Christmas Day who I saw helplessly lying in the middle of University Drive near my building.  Mara and I  were very worried that she would not live. “Merry” never moved or ate all day. We took her to our vet the next morning who helped bring her back to life. Then Merry was immediately cared for by HSNT and was quickly adopted. We felt like we had witnessed a kind of Christmas miracle.

Our Holiday Schedule

Berenson Law will be closed Friday and Monday to give our employees time to enjoy the holidays with their families.

I will be at the office during much of that time, will be available by email, and the phones will be answered. This is an especially busy time of year — especially today — as we have rushed to get our personal injury clients settlement funds or loans in time for the holidays.

Merry Christmas and Happy Hannukah to everyone!
