I went to the school I adopted 18 years ago last month to meet with its running club. We had a race and the two fastest won footballs as prizes.
Many of them had competed in the Cowtown Marathon’s C.A.L.F. 5K run and will compete in the Marathon’s children’s 5K race in February.
Yesterday I gave each child a soccer ball and brought cupcakes for their party and these Christmas gifts for a family.
I have enjoyed supporting the school over the years.
