A lawsuit has been filed over the June 29th crash on the Dallas North Tollway that I previously blogged about.
The video camera footage of the collision showing the handicapped bus driver failing to slow down even though he was looking straight ahead as he approached a line of stopped vehicles was frightening.
Jose Sepulveda and his wife, Pollieanna, sued Veolia Transport Services and its driver Willie Grant. Veolia owns the paratransit vehicle and operated it on a contract for Dallas Area Rapid Transit, the Dallas-area transit authority.
I will follow the progress of this litigation, as I have a similar case pending, and report back if and when it settles out of court (which I expect) or goes to trial.
